Prosthetic Dentistry
Prosthetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry that deals with the loss of matter in natural teeth, missing teeth and surrounding oral and maxillofacial tissues with artificial materials, and the correction and maintenance of oral functions, aesthetics and patient health. This discipline deals with the production of fixed prostheses, removable prostheses, maxillofacial prostheses and implant supported prostheses and the treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
